GSEM
The GSEM (Ground Support Equipment Manager) Launch Remote is TBNL’s debut launch controller, which will be used to configure and monitor all of our flights!
The GSEM system displays vehicle and GSE (Ground Support Equipment) status and configuration on a 7” screen and takes input from the user to remotely configure, arm, and launch our vehicles - either from the TBNL Send It! launch pad or any other generic launcher!
Features
7” 480x800 display
~900 and ~400MHz dedicated radios for remote-to-vehicle and remote-to-pad communication, respectively
6600MAh battery with integrated charging/load sharing off the USB micro-B connector in the back of the case
4x4 matrix keypad and joystick (with select button!) for primary user input
arming key, dead-operator’s switch, and launch commit buttons for secure countdowns which occur only under the operation of authorized personnel (i.e. those who hold the arming keys)
micro USB data connection on the front panel
1/4 20 threaded mount on the bottom of the case to mount to camera tripods for fluid tracking during launch operations
