Build and design updates

  • updated design for the avionics bay for our inaugural vehicle: Something Gay

CAD design preview for the Something Gay vehicle's avionics bay. Individually labeled sleds attach to a central spine with nuts and bolts, and the central frame mounts to the avionics bay with 2 threaded rods.

Equipment updates

  • designed and printed an extended spool holder for the Ender 5 Plus - the 3kg spool of PLA I recently purchased is too wide for the stock holder :P

CAD design image for the extended spool holder and support brace for the Ender 5 Plus 3D printer. The design features a long cylindrical spool holder, a nut which secures the spool holder, and a brace which supports the far end of the spool holder.
